Chris offers 1:1 in-person and telehealth therapy using a secure video conferencing platform. He is licensed as a professional counselor (LPC) in Arizona, Georgia, Louisiana, Minnesota, and Ohio.
Chris sees clients in-person at his Tucson office. Clients in other states, or in other parts of Arizona (or clients in Tucson who prefer telehealth), he sees virtually via secure video/audio technology.
Note for clients seeking in-person therapy: Chris's office is moving August 1, 2026, to the Zola Healing CoLab. Address: 1200 N El Dorado Pl, Suite C-320, Tucson, AZ, 85715. Please reach out with any questions about location. This website will be updated soon with new photos and information regarding this location.
Later in 2026, Chris will offer professional consulting services utilizing the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). This website will be updated at that time to reflect these expanded offerings. Please reach out if you have questions about consulting services.

At this time, I work with Aetna and Optum insurance carriers in Arizona. In Ohio, I work with Aetna.
Aetna includes Mertain and some other plans. Optum includes Oscar, Oxford, and some other plans. Please reach out and we can check your eligibility.
Note: I am in the process of becoming credentialed to work with insurance in the other states where I am licensed. This website will be updated once that is live.

At this time, I have reached the limit for sliding-scale and pro-bono options.
Below is the description for how I approach sliding-scale/pro-bono. This website will be updated when I have more slots.
I maintain slots for Sliding-Scale according to a three-tiered system. A minimum of 20% of my caseload pays by Sliding-Scale. *Currently, the limit is reached.
Sliding-Scale & Pro-Bono services are reserved for individuals that truly cannot pay the full rate for counseling or close to the full rate. If I am able to work with you on a Sliding-Scale or Pro-Bono basis, I will check-in with you periodically (once per 6-months) to determine if you still need this option or are able to increase your payment.
Clients in sliding-scale or pro-bono slots receive the same quality of care as other clients, and there is no undue “pressure” to increase payment. The purpose of the periodic conversation is to ensure the service is needed for the purpose of ensuring the service is available for those truly in need.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit
www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call HHS at (800) 368-1019.
