Fully Human Counseling & Consulting

Serving your search for presence, meaning, freedom.

Chris Bradshaw, PhD, LPC
Counselor, Consultant

“We can discover more in ourselves, in others, in life — more presence, aliveness, meaning. And yet, something blocks us. Anxiety. Depression. Old wounds, or a loss that changed everything. Self-protective patterns, like "perfectionism," and "people-pleasing." People I work with are introspective and capable — carrying real strengths alongside real pain. Some wonder if trauma defines them. Others sense something missing but can't name it.

Healing is possible. So is deeper presence and more meaningful engagement with life. If you're ready to explore, I'd be glad to talk and decide if I am a good fit to walk alongside you.

Counseling, and depth therapy, can help you find or rediscover strengths, values, and inner resources. We explore what holds you back — and why those patterns developed in the first place. Understanding the function of your struggles changes your relationship to them. Real movement becomes possible: relief, agency, a life with more meaning.

Reaching out takes courage. I deeply respect your willingness to face what's difficult. We don't have to remain in our suffering alone. Life can become more meaningful and expansive than we sometimes imagine.

Guilt can become hope; anxiety may turn into freedom/excitement/creativity; loneliness loves to turn into love; boredom longs to transform into meaningfulness. With sustained effort, sometimes over a long time, “the more of life,” as Dr. Kirk Schneider, one of my teachers, calls it, is possible.”

Fully Human Counseling & Consulting is the private practice of Chris Bradshaw, PhD, LPC.

Chris offers compassionate and confidential individual therapy — both in-person in Tucson and virtually (through secure, HIPAA-Compliant video/audio) throughout Arizona. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and holds a PhD in psychology. Through the Counseling Compact, he is also licensed to provide therapy virtually in Georgia, Louisiana, Minnesota, and Ohio.

Chris has extensive experience walking alongside individuals as they work to overcome barriers and build a more satisfying life. He takes what he calls an “integrative depth" approach” to therapy. Depending on your needs and goals, he may thoughtfully and ethically draw on Existential-Humanistic (EH) therapy, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and dream work — his primary modalities, each supported by significant training. He may also draw on training in other approaches as needed, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). This website will be updated in late 2026 to include more information about each of these approaches and how Chris typically utilizes them in therapy.

Later in 2026, Chris will offer professional consulting services, including personality type consulting using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), for individuals, organizations, and fellow therapists. These consulting services are distinct from therapy — this website will be updated with more detail as these offerings become available.
